We have two more open time trials coming up in a few weeks. On Sunday 24th September it's the Crescent 30, organised by Mark Freeman. A week later on Sunday 1st October it's the Comet 25 organised by Dave McCarthy. These events are named after the two clubs that merged to form Lea Valley CC in 1969. Both races are held on the 'E1' course, which mostly traces the route of the old A11 (which is now a series of B roads) north from Quendon and back again. We will be based at our Race HQ in Ugley. If you've never been there before, this is in the countryside north of Bishops Stortford / Stansted Airport. We'd like as many club members to race as possible and/or offer to marshal / help out.
