Hiya, yes I'd be interested - and I suspect Euan would too. We did the Islington wattbike sessions all winter last year - would be great to do it ith LVCC.

After a successful trial week I can confirm we're moving our Ladies who Lap rides to the velopark. See below for details.

    Ladies who Lap
Every Thursday we have a women's ride from 6.30-8pm (join in at any time) at the velopark in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (Abercrombie Road E20 3AB).
The session is an informal way to either get into club cycling, boost your training or just meet other female cyclists. The sessions are relaxed - those who feel like going flat out are welcome too, while others take a more relaxed approach. All are welcome!
Entry is £4 - pay at reception and then join us on the track. Look out for riders in green and white!
Any questions - please contact Chrystyna on 07734393815.

Hello, Chrystyna here - yes we're going ahead tomorrow and you should definitely join us - we'd love to have you!

This time we're going to go to the velopark (outside the velodrome in the Olympic Park). You can pay on arrive - it's £4 to use the road circuit. It's really good - a one mile uninterrupted circuit. Ppl will be there from 6.30pm and 7pm. You can arrive anytime and just join when you see us pass the start. I'll stop at both those times to pick up riders. I will be wearing my shiny new LVCC kit! My number is 07734393815 if you need to get in touch.

Come along Josh - the more the merrier!

We meet on Sunday at 9am just outside the Town Hall in Walthamstow. We then have a very quick discussion about who wants to do what pace and off we go. Generally the rides tend to be between 45-60miles with three or so different pace groups suited to whoever is there and what they fancy doing.

Come along - see how you like it and you can then join on the British Cycling website.

I came late (shed door broke - don't ask) so only just got there in time for the slower group. We did split into three.

One split happened right away at the tea hut - 8 of us went for a pace which was around 16mph and another went more like 13/14mph.

My group then split again towards the end of the ride with most continuing with the same pace but a couple having a more leisurely ride back.

Generally we work with who is there and what they can do and find a pace that works for all.

We had five new riders with us this week which is fantastic!

    Here come the girls!

Hi all, a group of us have been saying for a while that we'd like to do a women's ride.

Well, guess what? It's actually happening!

From this Thursday there will be a weekly women-only ride doing a chain-gang around the Olympic stadium. It is a fantastic opportunity for the growing number of women in the club to get to know each other and to train together. New riders and old timers all welcome!

Meet at 7pm on Thursday the corner of Loop Road and Carpenters Road - not far from the Copper Box Arena (see maps).

Pace will be set by whoever is there that week. The ride will be roughly for an hour and a half but people can leave earlier or stay later should they wish.

Please contact me on 07734393815 should you have any questions.

Which route is it Jamie? Don't know which to download?

I think I'm gonna end up stuck between the 'medium' group which seems to be going at 12pmh from looking at people's strava and the fast which is just a touch too fast I think. Ellen's coming this week again though so if we have the route we can stick together.

Ok Green Park is the winner (if weather holds).

Not able to go to the reunion but if you agree a spot in the park there and let us all know will see you there.

PS. Training ride tonight if anyone fancies - prob around 35 miles leaving Waltham Forest Town Hall 6.30pm
