  I'm going to enter the 24th September 8am 30 mile E1/30* TT but wondered if you needed any help with volunteers? Happy to help before/after & even during (if I could start early)?

  Ladies,

  Pippa Leith is organising some women's Friday night crit races at the Velopark, for ALL levels (although you will need a racing licence).

  Short Friday night crits @7:30pm
  18th August
  25th August
  15th September
  22nd September
  29th September (TBC)

  Track to ourselves (gents feel free to watch and support :)) Friends and family are all welcome. Creating a relaxed, social environment is the main driving force behind this idea. Think of it as a Girls' Night Out with a bike race!

  They'll be points & prizes for those that want to contest the titles

  Less experienced riders will be able to ride at their own pace, gaining confidence and improving fitness without pressure or intimidation. These races are suitable for new riders and we’ll actively encourage them to take part.

  Also if anyone would like to help or volunteer:
  Most importantly, we need volunteers from all clubs and teams (male and female!) to help out with marshalling, sign-on, line judging/timing (training will be given) and First Aid. Helpers will all be given free membership for our Winter season road series and/or track track league.

  Thank you @ColinRoss. I think the ladies were lucky as we didn't reach our entry limit so we pretty much all got in.

  The start sheets are out now so I also had a quick look, no one else on it on mens or ladies. Yep got my transport & accommodation all sorted now. Did a practice run on the course last weekend with the realteam25 event and got a new PB (1:03:50), so hoping for even better at the Nationals, fingers crossed.

  I have emailed Mark but just in case anyone sees this. I'm having to pull out today.

  I'm so sorry I've been awake all night with pains in my right side, from my neck down to the back of my right leg. Ibuprofen isn't working. It's a constant pain. It started yesterday morning & has just got worse by 9pm yesterday I could barely move. I'm sure it's just something muscular but off to see Dctr anyway.

  Genuinely gutted as I wanted another crack at a club event. I'll transfer my £5 anyway to cover race costs. I can't race on no sleep & pains in my arm & back.
