I am wiping the dust off this section of the forum with this post. For those who do not recall me, I occasionally join your Sunday rides (6 times this year), this is me captured on Jamie’s selfie (white-red jersey):
I want to ask you a favour – does anyone of you has an extended saddle bag (minimum 10 litres of capacity) which I could borrow for a one-off 4-day trip I intend to make between 27th and 30th of July? Surely, I could easily buy a brand new one, but I don’t want to do this as most probably I will use it this one time only and then put it in the closet for an indefinite time. The minimum I can buy it for is ~£60, that’s just too much for the one-off trip. So, I was hoping that one of you could lend it to me for a reasonable rental fee, or another form of payback (6 pack of a beer, bag of sweets? You name it). I am looking for something like this:
