Hello Lea Valley CC.
I've been meaning to join a club for ages now, but to be frank, I just haven't got my posterior into gear. So I need to bite the bullet and do something. However, because of my work and family commitments I can rarely get to the rides you run on Sundays. I was just wondering if you do "ad hoc" rides, where if people fancy a ride you post on the forum, maybe even get an alert, and off you go.

Hi Pete. That's a great idea and part of what the forum is intended for, but in reality a lot of people hardly ever look at the forum and just use the club's Facebook page instead, so there's a danger of any post about a ride being unseen until after that ride. Are you on Facebook at all?

Hello.
Thanks for the reply although its taken me ages to get back in touch. Well I went ahead and joined via the British Cycling website, now all I have to do is join facebook and get some riding in.

Tips:

Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----

To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
