The Len Cooper is the club’s annual road race for its members .It’s run in memory of one of our members who wanted to encourage more of us to take part in cycle racing. You don't need a BC licence to take part.
This year it's at the Redbridge Cycle Circuit at Hog Hill.
We meet at Hog Hill at 9.00am. The race will start at 9.30 and will last for 45 minutes plus 5 laps. We are using the lower circuit so the ascent of Hog Hill each lap will be avoided.
This year we are running the race under TLI rules. This means £5 to enter and £5 for a day licence.
Don’t worry if you haven’t raced before, just taking part is a great experience. It is a tradition that the first lap is the President’s lap, with no overtaking the President. After that you can overtake John as many times as you want!
