Here’s a list of the events the club is organising this season.
You can enter the open TTs online via the RTTC website. The event's listing now has a map of the course. So perhaps Time Trialling is at last becoming a little less secretive!

Our first event of the season. It's the open 25 on the E1/25 course at Ugley.
Here's the link on the RTT site http://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/event/20716
Jamie is already looking for a partner for the two up. He's started a post on that.
Carolyn is the event organiser. If you have not entered then I know she will be looking for help with marshalling.

Having had a poke about on the SFCC site it seems there's a wealth of good ideas and practice there...

Have a look and see what you think. They don't use maps but do use Audax style directions. They tend towards the analogue.

Thanks for raising this Jamie. As you know , organising club runs is one of the things that keeps me awake at night.
In theory we have 3 groups. The fast, 18mph+ group, John's group 15mphish and a breakfast stop, and my slow, new starters group which aims to be back in e17 by 1pm..
Our problem is that we have too many routes and not enough leaders. We also have a fluctuating group of riders. Mind you , that's not always a problem as we can design rides around the needs and capabilties of the riders. So we are not as inflexible as some other clubs and we can take on beginners. So lets keep this debate going .
One last thing, the idea of the club meeting @ the Wynwood Cafe on Sunday before the rides was to sort out the runs in the warm and the dry over a cup of tea of coffee. I think that's working but it would be great if more of us met up there first.
The committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
Apart from it being an opportunity to eat Jaffa biscuits and drink tea it’s when the club committee meets to oversee the management of Lea Valley CC.
So that's things like organising the Tuesday Tens, all our open events , the road race, websites, the race HQ and the business of the club. For example, it's the place where the final decision about the club kit was made.
So what else do members want to know about the committee?
What do you want on the agenda?
