Dear All,
Not only was the course record broken once but twice. First Richard Price from London Phoenix CC broke Colin Ward's course record set last year in a time of 01:04:31,then Colin Ward from Essex Roads CC came back and broke the newly set record with 01:02:33. Despite the earlier rain conditions were very favorable with a number of very fast times. Well done to Mary Bower of Chelmer CC setting the best womens time of 01:16:55 and Bradley Osborne of Becontree Wheelers CC who set a great Junior time of 01:19:29.

From the Lea Valley we had 2 riders for our club 30 with the winner Neil Davies setting a time of 01:22:54 to win the Club 30 medal.

Hi All, Just a reminder about this event. Event is eligible for club awards.

Hi Neil. Thanks for moving this on. Maybe we should plan for 2nd Wed in Sept (give those teachers a rest for school back week). I suggest 7pm or 8pm. If we can get 8-10 people together for the first week it will be about £10 each. Perhaps as we gain momentum we can arrange coaches and get people to pay in advance. The club does not have a credit card. Have a work with Jo Mumford about monies, or members can pay in advanceto the club account and then they can invoice us.

The event is open to trikes but it is not a trike event. The trike event is the following week.

This is the last opportunity to ride a 30 mile time trial and for Lea Valley Club members to enter the Lea Valley 30 Cup. It is also an open event and the best rider will win the Crescent 30 Trophy and the best Eastern Counties rider to win the ECCA Championship 30 Cup. Entry Fees of £9 (off line) and £10 on he CTT website. (See flyer)

Maybe you have tried out Time Trialing at the Tuesday 10s for the first time this year. Or maybe you are an experienced racer. This event is a time trial on the open (but fairly quiet) road on a sleepy Sunday morning. For those that want to build up an appetite for the club reunion or for those who want to try something different than the club run.

Entries are made by completing the CTT Entry form which you can pick up on a Tuesday and give back to Joe or to Mark or Armin.
NB no online entries via the CTT website.

This is one of the fastest courses in the country and has been the place of national records in the past.
