Are you available for Marshalling duties over the next couple of weeks. We have a couple of events we need help with.

• Ecca 14 ; start about 07:45 and should be finished by 08:30. We need a couple of pushers off. If you can help we can arrange for a free space on the Ecca Audax 50k/100k at 10am. We can arrange lift if necessary.

• Lea Valley E2/10 - start about 14:00 and finish about 17:00. Again lifts can be arranged.

A handicapped event means that you not only get your actual time, but your handicapped time. Your handicap is based on age and past performances, so that everyone in the club is competing on a level playing field for awards.

LVCC and Shafesbury CC are organising a 25 mile TT on the same course as the Frank Trueman memorial held the week before.
If you want to try and improve on your solo time of the 12/3/17 then come back the following week and try again.

Entries are via Mark Freeman TT Sec as this is not an open event there is no on line entry. Please press the yes i am attending button or send me a entry form and I will add you to the start list.

You can also enter on the line on the day of the event. Just turn up and go, but you will have to start after all the pre-entered riders.

To be on the start sheet send me your entries by Monday 13/3/17 or drop them off at the club night. Entry fee £5.

Nb inter club event means that the 2 clubs lead on organising not competing against each other.

2 up and solos.
Entries must be by 28/2/17.

Hi Colin and Jamie, yes Jamie is right.
There is also the vets TT champs which doesn't need a 30.
There is also the long distances BAR which is 50, 100 and 12 hr.
Most of the info is in the 2015 Handbook if you can 'de-code' it.
Give me a shout if you need more clarity. I am also still trying to work them all out. I have tried to simplify things but with the handicaps it all becomes complicated.

No parking facilities arranged by the club as LVCC members usually meet at Walthamstow Town Hall and ride there as a warm up. If you are driving there is usually parking near the green hut cafe and pub at High Beach (not sure if there is a fee)

If you wish to be considered for club awards for those that have entered open events that were not origanised by Lea Valley Cycle Club, competitors must provide their time along with a copy of their entry form, entry sheet and result sheet to Mark Freeman (the time trial secretary) by Monday 7th November 2016 if they wish to be considered for the end of year awards given out at the club dinner.
