Hi Martin. It's difficult to say. If you look at the average speed of the Tuesday evening rides, it's really nothing special - my computer says just 14.5mph for the last one. But obviously we get slowed down a bit by junctions and traffic as it's an urban route - it doesn't feel as slow as that! Once up in Chingford we go on a loop of about 4 miles - there are two climbs in quick succession and people tend to push it hard up those and we all get split up, but normally we stop to regroup before embarking on another lap.
